For women of all backgrounds and in any U.S. state who are pursuing training for construction-related fields that do not require a four-year degree (carpentry, construction management, electrical, HVAC, plumbing).
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, candidate must comply with the following requirements:
Candidate must be female.
Candidate must be a high school graduate or have a GED equivalent.
Candidate must intend to enroll or be currently enrolled in an accredited construction trade college or postsecondary program in the U.S.
Not be an employee or dependent of an employee of the The Home Depot (employees of The Home Depot and their dependents are eligible to apply for a scholarship from The Homer Fund)
Focused on Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Construction Management.
