I sent out an email on January 6th notifying all dual enrollment students that they would receive a bill this semester. Below is what was contained in that email. All the students from Mt. Zion were approved in GA Futures on 1/16/24. The college will not receive payment until some next week.
"This semester all Dual Enrollment student will receive a bill from the Bursar’s Office. All students who are partial or full self-paying will need to pay any balance by January 11, 2024. This will include lab fees and courses not covered by GA Futures. The dual enrollment advisors will not start processing GA Futures Funding until after January 11, 2024."
The letter should have contained the message “This is for informational purposes only”. However, if a student did not have that message in the email. They owe the college for unapproved classes, self-paying students, or lab fees.
