Do you know a female youth interested in exploring a future career in fire service? If so, the Forest Park Fire and Emergency Services Department is hosting a FREE one-day camp for Clayton County youth (Ages 12-17) who want to learn the ins and outs of what it takes to become a certified firefighter.
The camp will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Gillem Public Safety Building and led by several female fire professionals who have achieved success in the field. Topics to be covered include the following:
Fire Service History
Fire Behavior
Fire Extinguishers
CPR
Physical Fitness
First Aid
Teamwork
