Georgia Tech Early Action 1 Admission Decisions Release

Early Action 1 admission decisions for Georgia students will be released Friday, December 8 at 7 p.m. ET. Later that evening we will send you a brief class profile and breakdown by admission decision.

Our goal is to serve your school community by keeping you as informed as possible. As a counselor, you will be able to view your students' admission decisions via Slate.org approximately one day after your decisions are released.

Possible admission decision outcomes can be found on our website. Some students will be offered a transfer pathway, which provides an opportunity to transfer to Tech after attending college elsewhere.

Thanks for all you do. We greatly appreciate your hard work to support students, and, as always, if you have any questions, please contact our office.

Opportunities for Georgia Students

This fall our admission staff travelled throughout the state of Georgia, connecting with more than 4,400 students in 98 counties.

More than 12,000 Georgia students are currently studying as undergraduates at Tech - a new Institute record. Our goal is to continue to see that number increase through our first-year, transfer, and dual enrollment classes.

As you discuss college options with your students, please share these opportunities available to Georgia students at Tech.

NEW THIS YEAR: Scholars with significant financial need may be eligible to receive an annual Georgia Tech Val-Sal Scholarship of between $2,500 and $5,000.

  • The G. Wayne Clough Tech Promise Program provides a debt-free degree to qualifying students from low-income Georgia families, filling a gap in the financial aid support system by picking up where other scholarships and financial aid options leave off, covering a student’s full cost of attendance.

  • Georgia Tech Transfer Pathways provide first-year students from Georgia the opportunity to transfer to Tech after one or two years at another college.
